Vodafone Business partners with Tech Mahindra to enhance UK enterprise services through AI, private 5G, and digital infrastructure, supporting businesses to modernise operations and boost resilience amid ongoing investments.
Vodafone Business has struck a new partnership with Tech Mahindra as it steps up efforts to position its UK enterprise arm around digital transformation, AI and managed connectivity services. The deal is designed to link VodafoneThree’s infrastructure and security capabilities with Tech Mahindra’s experience in technology consulting, systems integration, digital engineering and managed services, according to the companies.
The agreement comes as VodafoneThree continues to spend £11bn on what it says will become the UK’s strongest business network. That investment is intended to give customers secure and scalable digital foundations, and the partnership with Tech Mahindra is being framed as part of a wider push to turn that network strength into commercial services for organisations looking to modernise operations and improve resilience.
According to the announcement, the two companies will jointly develop industry-specific propositions for UK customers, using AI, automation, private 5G, the internet of things, cloud and data. The aim is to help businesses simplify complex technology estates, speed up digital adoption and uncover new operating models rather than simply replace legacy systems.
Tech Mahindra said it has a substantial UK footprint and that the collaboration fits its “AI Delivered Right” approach, which is focused on moving companies from testing AI to deploying it at scale. Nick Gliddon, business director at VodafoneThree, said the partnership would broaden the operator’s ecosystem of specialist partners and give customers access to integrated solutions across cloud, AI, cyber security and digital transformation. Harshul Asnani, president and head of Europe business at Tech Mahindra, said the framework would help organisations modernise networks and operations while delivering measurable business outcomes.
The tie-up also reflects a broader shift at Vodafone Business towards working with external technology specialists to cover more of the enterprise transformation journey. Vodafone has recently announced a separate collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services, underscoring how the business unit is building a wider partner network to support UK customers as they face mounting pressure to cut complexity, strengthen digital resilience and extract more value from technology spending.
