EvertzAV is set to emphasise the industry’s shift to standards-based AV over IP with the launch of its IPMX certification and new product innovations at ISE 2026, advancing multi-vendor interoperability across professional AV and broadcast systems.
EvertzAV will use its presence at Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona from 3 to 6 February 2026 to underline the industry push toward standards-based AV over IP, centring its message on the emergence of the Internet Protocol Media Experience, or IPMX. According to the company’s media releases and trade-show previews, the new certification initiative and an accompanying industry test event are being positioned as the means to secure reliable multi-vendor interoperability across Pro AV deployments. Paulo Francisco, vice president of engineering at EvertzAV, summed up the company’s view: “We’re excited about the introduction of the Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX) certification program and inaugural test event. IPMX is a game-changer for the Pro AV space, as it allows customers to build best-of-breed AV over IP systems, and the official certification program is the mechanism by which, as an industry, we can assure multi-vendor interoperability.” (Source: trade-preview interview.)
On the product front EvertzAV will spotlight its new MMA-25G network gateways, 25GbE devices that the company says combine transcode capability with support for RAW and JPEG XS processing to carry UHD signals across IP networks with very low latency. The MMA25G family was introduced publicly at InfoComm 2025 and is described by the vendor as bridging Pro AV and broadcast workflows while enabling high-quality compression profiles for demanding content. EvertzAV is also emphasising IPMX support within its NUCLEUS AVoIP platform, presenting that addition as a way to give customers the option of best-of-breed IPMX interoperability while retaining existing NUCLEUS functionality. Company material details a hybrid architecture that uses commercial off-the-shelf network switches and flags support for JPEG XS and the newer JPEG XS TDC profile, technologies promoted as enabling high-quality compressed 4K60 4:4:4 streams even over 1Gbps links. Industry partner demonstrations at previous ISEs have showcased how such compression profiles can reduce bandwidth without sacrificing visual fidelity. Underpinning the product ecosystem is EvertzAV’s MAGNUM-OS orchestration and management environment, which the vendor says provides unified control for its gateways and integrates with existing MMA10G systems. Product specifications also note compliance with SMPTE ST 2110 profiles and support for Pro AV transport features such as AES67 audio and PTP timing, signalling the company’s intent to remain aligned with broadcast-derived standards while addressing Pro AV interoperability needs. As the Pro AV market continues to press for open standards and verified interoperability, EvertzAV’s ISE showcase reinforces a broader industry trend toward certified IPMX ecosystems and toolsets that shorten the pathway between broadcast and professional AV. The company will exhibit in Barcelona as part of a calendar of events that also includes a planned presence at InfoComm later in 2026. (Sources: trade-preview coverage, EvertzAV media calendar.)
