Kaseya’s CEO Rania Succar unveils plans to empower managed service providers with AI-driven tools, revolutionising support for small and mid-sized businesses amidst upcoming IPO preparations and ongoing product innovations.
Kaseya, a prominent provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, is deepening its commitment to supporting small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) through managed service providers (MSPs), according to an extensive interview with CEO Rania Succar. Succar, who took the helm in June 2025 after a notable career at Intuit, positions Kaseya as a key partner to MSPs, recognising that while some SMBs manage IT in-house, the majority benefit significantly from outsourcing to trusted advisors.
Succar underscored the transformative role MSPs will play as artificial intelligence automates routine IT tasks. She explained that, while some operational functions currently performed by MSPs will be automated, this presents an opportunity for MSPs to evolve into vital consultants guiding SMBs through the AI-driven business landscape. “In the next 12 months, MSPs will fully automate so much manual labour,” she said, highlighting Kaseya’s role in leading this AI-driven automation journey. The innovation will range from automating tier-one repetitive tasks to enhancing MSPs’ growth activities by using sophisticated digital worker capabilities powered by AI.
This shift is expected to open new horizons in trusted advisory services, with MSPs helping SMBs leverage AI and business intelligence, a domain that has so far been dominated by large enterprises. Succar stressed that MSPs will not only provide solutions but also be partners in navigating the complex tech terrain, essential for smaller businesses that struggle to keep pace with emerging AI trends. She remarked, “Small businesses are going to need partners in this, not just solutions… we’re going to partner with MSPs to help ensure that they’re the ones at the table driving that transformation.”
The transformation will not be without challenges. Succar acknowledged that MSPs currently face difficulties in providing consultancy at this level, necessitating robust support from partners like Kaseya. To ease this transition, Kaseya plans to develop vertical-specific AI agents and curate them within an accessible marketplace tailored for MSPs to deploy within their SMB clients. This platform will be supported by significant enablement efforts targeting MSPs so they can stay at the forefront of these technologies.
Kaseya’s ambitious growth trajectory is underpinned by its ongoing preparation for an eventual initial public offering (IPO). Succar conveyed confidence that the company’s strong innovation pipeline, backed by over $1.5 billion in annual revenue, positions it to meet public market expectations for consistent and accelerating growth. She emphasised that their success as a public company hinges on sustained innovation that benefits MSP partners. This IPO journey also involves strengthening Kaseya’s financial and risk management infrastructures to meet the rigorous demands of public markets.
Recent product advancements unveiled at industry events such as Kaseya Connect APAC 2025 and DattoCon Europe further illustrate the company’s commitment to innovation. Highlights include the launch of Datto SIRIS 6, a backup and disaster recovery appliance delivering faster recovery times at a lower cost, and the acquisition of INKY, an email security provider utilising generative AI and behavioural analysis to combat phishing threats. These enhancements aim to bolster the security and efficiency capabilities available to MSPs and their SMB clients.
Complementing Kaseya’s strategic direction are recent executive appointments, including Anthony Anzevino as Chief Revenue Officer and Pratik Wadher as Chief Technology Officer, bringing renewed focus to AI-led growth and technological leadership. Succar’s leadership message at events such as DattoCon has been clear, Kaseya is dedicated to working collaboratively with MSPs, driving a future defined by innovation, community, and transformative growth.
Succar’s vision positions MSPs not merely as service providers but as essential partners in the AI transformation journey, supporting SMBs in navigating the complexities of evolving IT environments. As MSPs embrace AI automation, Kaseya aims to equip them with the technology and expertise needed to thrive in this changing landscape, ensuring they remain indispensable advisors to small businesses amid rapid technological advancement.
