Hewlett Packard Enterprise launches the Partner Ready Vantage programme, unifying partner schemes into an integrated, flexible framework that emphasises expertise, growth, and service innovation, with plans for wider program integration by 2026-27.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has initiated a significant overhaul in its channel partner engagement with the launch of the Partner Ready Vantage Program, effective from November 1. This new programme consolidates multiple legacy partner schemes into a single, integrated framework, aimed at simplifying processes while empowering partners to deliver comprehensive edge-to-cloud solutions encompassing Compute, Hybrid Cloud, and Networking domains. According to Simon Ewington, HPE’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channel & Partner Ecosystem, the programme embodies a forward-looking approach to channel collaboration, providing unified access, streamlined processes, and expanded growth opportunities for partners.
Central to the programme is the introduction of the Triple Platinum Plus designation, the highest tier for elite partners demonstrating expertise across all three core technology centers. These distinguished partners gain access to enhanced rewards, resources, and collaborative selling opportunities, thereby reinforcing their leadership status within HPE’s ecosystem. The framework splits into two principal tracks: the Sell Track and the Service Track. The Sell Track replaces several older structures with more flexible business models, while the Service Track amalgamates Managed, Professional, and Support Services into a cohesive system with unified tools and financial incentives.
HPE’s vision extends beyond this initial phase, with plans to fully integrate additional programmes, including the Juniper Networks Partner Advantage Program by 2026-27, consolidating their “one partner, one program” philosophy globally. This future model intends to deepen partner engagement and foster more seamless collaboration.
Complementing this structural simplification, the Partner Ready Vantage programme is designed to enhance partner profitability and growth. Partners gain full access to HPE’s portfolio, including compute, storage, and networking, through a single programme. New incentive schemes reward partners who drive broader value across the HPE ecosystem. Additionally, partners can grow their services business independently, under the HPE brand, or a combination of both, maximising revenue potential. The modular enablement framework and broadened competencies fast-track partner readiness in high-demand areas such as private cloud, GreenLake Flex, hybrid cloud operations, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
Further fuelling this growth potential, the programme is now fully open for as-a-service partners globally. It incorporates an evolved competency framework to recognise distinct partner expertise, covering new offerings across Edge, Hybrid Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) domains. This empowers partners to leverage HPE’s intellectual property, tools, and resources to enhance business growth and increase revenues within the HPE GreenLake as-a-service portfolio, which is gaining significant traction among customers seeking flexible and scalable IT solutions.
The programme’s emphasis on service growth is underpinned by compelling market data. A study highlighted by HPE reveals that for every dollar customers invest in HPE solutions, they are likely to spend nearly five times that amount on complementary products and services via partners, underlining the vast incremental revenue opportunities available for those engaged with Partner Ready Vantage.
Partners can also deepen their expertise by enrolling in focused Centres of Expertise spanning three tracks, Build, Sell, and Service, with 12 comprehensive competencies covering AI and Analytics, Edge computing, and Hybrid Cloud. These competencies are designed to increase partners’ technical understanding and capability to address customers’ business challenges effectively. The programme intends to introduce additional competencies over time, adapting to evolving technology trends and market demands.
Designed from the ground up, HPE Partner Ready Vantage builds upon the legacy Partner Ready framework but shifts its focus towards recognising expertise, advancing service capabilities, and supporting partner business preferences. It creates new opportunities for partners to access untapped markets and revenue streams, deliver customised solutions, and develop unique customer experiences that drive business expansion.
In summary, HPE’s Partner Ready Vantage Program represents a comprehensive and strategically structured partner engagement initiative. It aims not only to simplify and unify partner interactions but also to accelerate partners’ ability to grow profitable service practices in a rapidly evolving technology environment, reinforcing HPE’s commitment to collaborative success with its partners.
