istributor. This collaboration aims to significantly expand BlackFog’s presence across the UK and Mainland Europe, enabling resellers and service providers to offer advanced protection against unauthorised data exfiltration and emerging AI-driven cyber threats.
According to Dr Darren Williams, Founder and CEO of BlackFog, the partnership with Exertis represents a key milestone in extending the company’s regional reach. He emphasises BlackFog’s commitment to redefining data security for the modern enterprise by delivering innovative preventative technologies. The collaboration promises to provide organisations with enhanced safeguards against unauthorised data leakage and sophisticated AI-enabled cyberthreats, supported by trusted local expertise through Exertis’s well-established partner ecosystem.
Dominic Ryles, Sales and Alliance Director at Exertis Enterprise, highlights the shift in cybersecurity from merely a defensive necessity to a commercial differentiator. He notes that organisations can no longer depend on static security solutions but require adaptive measures that evolve as rapidly as threats themselves. By integrating BlackFog’s pioneering ADX platform with Exertis’s extensive partner network, resellers and service providers can deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that not only protect customers but also open new routes to profitability. Ryles frames this development as a way for partners to turn resilience into a competitive business advantage, particularly by addressing fast-evolving AI-driven and emerging threats.
BlackFog’s ADX technology operates by blocking data exfiltration at the source through on-device behavioural controls and real-time policy enforcement. It disrupts attacker kill chains closely associated with ransomware operations, including double and triple extortion and command-and-control traffic. Furthermore, the platform applies continuous and adaptive protection to counter AI-enabled tactics by responding dynamically to changing behaviours. This preventative layer complements existing endpoint detection and response (EDR) or extended detection and response (XDR) systems, as well as traditional network security controls. The technology also supports compliance efforts by reducing the likelihood of sensitive data leaving the protected environment, mitigating regulatory exposure.
This deal marks BlackFog’s first formal distribution agreement in the UK and Europe, covering the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. While BlackFog previously had direct partner relationships in Europe, it had relied on distribution channels in other regions such as the United States, South Africa, and Asia Pacific. The partnership with Exertis thus enhances BlackFog’s ability to scale its presence in Europe through trusted local distributors. Despite the agreement, BlackFog has confirmed that existing partners in the region may continue to work directly with the company if they choose.
Industry observers note that data exfiltration remains at the heart of most cyberattacks, making prevention efforts a critical focus for today’s cybersecurity landscape. BlackFog’s ADX technology is seen as timely, particularly in the context of increasingly sophisticated AI-enabled threats that demand real-time, adaptive defences. The combination of BlackFog’s technological innovation and Exertis Enterprise’s broad distribution capabilities positions the partnership to meet rising market demands for resilient, scalable cybersecurity solutions.
By enabling their channel partners to offer proactive data protection technologies, BlackFog and Exertis together are helping organisations worldwide transform cybersecurity challenges into strategic competitive advantages in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
