Google Labs and DeepMind introduce Pomelli, an AI-driven platform that automates and customises social media marketing assets for small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming to level the digital playing field amid broader AI-driven business solutions.
Google Labs, in collaboration with Google DeepMind, has introduced Pomelli, a new AI-driven marketing tool designed to assist small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in creating social media campaigns with greater ease and efficiency. Unlike traditional marketing processes that require extensive brainstorming and manual content creation, Pomelli automates much of this workflow by generating unique AI content tailored specifically to each business. Users simply need to upload their business website to begin, enabling the platform to analyse and extract key brand elements.
According to Google’s announcement, Pomelli creates a “Business DNA” profile from the business URL, which processes website images and other visual cues to determine the brand’s tone of voice, colour palette, fonts, and imagery styles. This foundational profile then supports Pomelli in generating logos, taglines, and brand values, ensuring all marketing materials are aligned with the company’s identity. Following this, the platform can suggest ideas for advertising campaigns, or it can work with user-provided campaign prompts to tailor content further. The final output includes editable marketing assets suitable for websites, social media, and advertisements, allowing businesses to adjust images, headers, colours, fonts, descriptions, and calls to action to fit their specific needs.
Currently, Pomelli is in public beta and available only in English across select countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
