SentinelOne, Schwarz Digits, and XM Cyber deepen their partnership to launch a comprehensive, AI-powered security platform hosted on a sovereign cloud in Germany, addressing Europe’s need for secure, compliant digital defence against sophisticated hybrid threats.
In an era marked by escalating cybercrime and increasingly sophisticated hybrid threats targeting global supply chains, traditional isolated defense methodologies are proving inadequate. Many organisations are currently managing up to 80 different security solutions, but fragmented approaches fail to provide comprehensive protection. Responding to this challenge, SentinelOne, Schwarz Digits, and XM Cyber have deepened their strategic alliance to offer an AI-driven, holistic cybersecurity platform designed to shield critical data and processes across the entire attack lifecycle and varying attack surfaces.
The collaboration brings together SentinelOne’s Singularity™ AI-powered platform—which delivers real-time protection for endpoints, servers, and cloud environments, and automates threat remediation—with Schwarz Digits’ security solutions portfolio. This includes XM Cyber’s Continuous Exposure Management Platform, which identifies and maps exposure points across external, enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments, incorporating AI components to assess their associated risks. Complementing this is the Omniac app and API service, which monitors deep, dark, and surface web sources to detect leaked personal information, enhancing identity protection for both organisations and consumers.
Noam Erez, CEO and Co-Founder of XM Cyber, emphasised the necessity of integrated, intelligent platforms that close security gaps where attackers thrive: “Threat actors thrive in the gaps between an organization’s proactive and reactive security controls, and our mission is to eliminate those gaps.” Meanwhile, Tomer Weingarten, CEO and Co-Founder of SentinelOne, positioned the partnership within the context of a new cyberwarfare era, stating, “AI fights AI. We need autonomous, AI-driven defence capable of neutralising threats in real time. To achieve this, we can’t just look at individual endpoints. We must bring all security data together in a single context. The Schwarz Digits solutions strengthen our platform enormously.”
Beyond the technical synergy, an important feature of this initiative is its operation on Schwarz Digits’ sovereign cloud platform, STACKIT, hosted in Germany. This ensures complete data sovereignty and compliance with stringent European privacy and cybersecurity regulations—including GDPR, NIS2, and DORA—addressing growing concerns around digital independence and regulatory oversight. This sovereign approach is vital for European companies aiming to retain control over their data and security operations within their jurisdictions. XM Cyber’s platform has already been integrated with STACKIT, and the migration of SentinelOne’s SecOps capabilities to this cloud will provide European customers with a fully sovereign, comprehensive security platform.
The Schwarz Group, one of the world’s largest retail conglomerates, will serve as the first customer. With an extensive IT and operational technology footprint—spanning over 14,200 stores, global production sites, and nearly 600,000 employees—the group presents an ideal testing ground for the deployment and refinement of these advanced cybersecurity solutions. Rolf Schumann, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits, highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in the group’s strategic direction and the potential to scale the technology worldwide. Christian Müller, Co-CEO, added that the partnership heralds a critical evolutionary step in cybersecurity at a time when AI is fundamentally reshaping both defensive and offensive tactics in the digital realm.
SentinelOne is recognised for its unified Data Lake approach, enabling systems to autonomously stay ahead of complex threats through intelligent, data-driven protections. The combined offering with Schwarz Digits and XM Cyber reflects an emerging trend towards fused, AI-enhanced platforms designed to provide continuous, 360-degree security coverage—critical as cyber threats grow in scale and sophistication.
This collaboration sets a new benchmark for cybersecurity in Europe by marrying advanced AI threat detection and response with sovereign cloud infrastructure. It underscores a strategic shift towards integrated, proactive security frameworks that help organisations anticipate vulnerabilities, detect real-time attacks, and maintain strict control over their data—all essential for robust defence in today’s cyber threat landscape.
